Brand new ex-shop stock, this Zodiac Astrographic automatic self winding SST mystery watch, made in the 1970's. Has been cut from one single steel ingot. This watch is incredibly durable and due to its robust construction, is impervious to corrosion. The watch with a iridescent blue dial, is one of the Zodiac Red Dot collection, a design inovation that won the 1972 'Montres et Bijoux' exhibition. This so called red-dot marks the passing seconds with a tireless movement that operates at 36'000 vibrations per hour - almost twice as fast as a normal watch, this gives an accuracy of 99.9977% The hands are luminous and are set on two revolving 'plates' set under the watch glass.
