Gents WEST END WATCH COMPANY (Circa 1920s)

A superb large and chunky early "trench" military type porcelain dial gents wristwatch by the West End Watch Company. The watch with white porcelain dial with "chunky" Roman numeral hour markers and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 'o' clock, original blued steel hands,the dial signed "West End Watch Company""Queen Anne" and signed over the seconds dial "Bombay-Calcutta". The watch with handwound movement housed in a 3 piece silvered metal case and still with its original (glass) glass. This is nice as it is a lot bigger than these porcelain dial early wristwatches generally are. The watch is on an associated steel bracelet which fits any wristsize also could be worn on a leather strap. The watch is 14 mm thick.
