A superb quality interesting heavy solid 18 carat gold "tuning fork" wristwatch by Universal Geneve dating from the 1960's . The watch with silvered dial with baton type hour markers very heavy solid 18 carat gold case which is a screwback type. The watch has the f300hz tuning fork movement which was the first electronic movement to go into full production and was the forerunner to the quartz. These tuning fork watches are instantly recognisable as they humm when you listen closely to them
