Ladies BUCHERER (Circa 1950s)

Superb Art Deco unusual silver and Marcasite 1950's handwound wristwatch by Bucherer, the watch consisting of silvered dial housed in silver marcasite case with unusual marcasite hinged cover over the dial, which opens for viewing the time, but when closed the whole watch appears to be a single piece of jewellery. The watch shoulders are fully hinged and articulated, and fits the wrist beautifully. The watch on cordette leather strap. Diameter of watch head: 14mm by 28mm.
