Gents OMEGA (Circa 1998)

Gents first generation Omega X-33 Mars Speedmaster professional titanium bracelet watch. These are an interesting model by Omega and since being discontinued in retail form since 2006 (still available to buy by the military, NASA etc. in quantity) but pulled from being sold retail , these have become quite a sought after model introduced in 1998 and flight qualified for Space by Nasa, the case and bracelet are all made from titanium and the watch sports various functions including countdown timer,stopwatch,very loud alarm, mission countdown timer etc, this watch comes complete with box instructions, warranty card and spare kevlar strap.

Gents rare 1970's Zenith El Primero automatic self winding chronograph. The watch is the seldom seen "TV" shaped model from the early 1970's with the unique rocker buttons for the chronograph. The watch has a blue dial with 3 sub dials for the chronograph and outer tachymeter scale on dial, steel case with crystal glass, self winding automatic movement, the watch on original Zenith steel bracelet, overall nice condition just has a small chip right on the edge of the glass near the 1 o clock position not really that noticeable but can be changed to a new crystal for an additional £58

Gents OMEGA (Circa 1970s)

Gents 1970's Omega Flightmaster pilots chronograph in steel. The watch in nice condition throughout, the flightmaster uses a modified version of the cal 861 movement as used in the moonwatch. The watch has a crystal glass , dark grey dial with 3 subsidiary dials for continuous seconds,30 minute recording and 12 hour recording. Black and white hour and minute hands, blue and luminous independently adjustable GMT hand and Orange sweep seconds hand, the watch has an amazing 5 buttons around the case , 1 rotates the inner bezel, the other adjusts the gmt hand,start and stop/reset button and finally the winding crown. The case of this watch is cut from a single block of Swedish steel and the upper case is pressed and tempered 16 times before it assumes its unique elliptical shape which fits the contours of the wrist comfortably (even on the smaller wrist). The watch is on its original Omega steel bracelet. A nice example of a sought after and quite rare vintage Omega pilots chronograph watch

The watch with solid 18 carat gold brushed dial which is totally original just has a few age speckles, steel and 18 carat gold capped case ( the case is gold capped as opposed to being plated, which being capped it is a physical thick sheet of gold applied to the surface of the steel so as such it never wears off and gives the appearance of an all gold Omega at a lesser price, The case back has the inset solid gold Observatory logo at the center, the watch has a caliber 751 "coppertone" 24 jewel self winding Omega movement adjusted to 5 positions and temperatures. A gents unusual massive and substantial self winding automatic chronograph by the the famous liverpool chronometer maker Sewills. The watch is a Sewills Challenger II and has a fully luminous dial with three sub dials for the chrono and day and date windows, screw on winding crown and screw on case back, the watch on original steel bracelet with concealed clasp, very good hardly used condition and as said a really substantial watch and a bit different

Gents OMEGA (Circa 1974)

Gents rare model Omega Speedmaster Cal. 1045 day date automatic chronograph , sometimes referred to as the The Speedmaster mark 4.5 as it came after the mark 4 and before the mark 5 Speedmaster, this one is quite rare as the day is in English as most of them were generally destined to the foreign market and as such the day is in a foreign language. The movement in this is the Cal 1045 which is based on the Lemania 5100 base movement. The watch is on its original bracelet and all the case and bracelet retains its original factory brushed finish, the crystal has faint hairline scratches only visible under strong light and all of these which still have the original crystal are like this. A nice vintage Speedmaster

Gents LONGINES (Circa 1946)

Gents rare 1946 Longines "Greenlander" British military issue steel handwound watch. The watch with steel case and nice clean handwound Longines calibre 12.68Z movement. The watch has been redialled in the past by the MOD (ministry of defence) due to the radioactive radium used on the original dials, these were accordingley used on artic expeditions by the british military hence the nickname but later evidence suggests that maybe they weren't issued for these missions but the nickname Greenlander stuck , it still sounds a good name though and they are a fairly rare military watch and differ from most as the whole case is steel and the watch is slightly larger than most military watches of the same period
