Conditions of Sale:

1. These conditions govern all contracts made by Brittons Jewellers (herein after called The Vendor).
2. English law shall govern any disputes arising out of the sale of any items referred to in the catalogue of the Vendor.
3. All orders are accepted on the basis that payment is made prior to the delivery of the item by the Vendor.
4. All watches and jewellery offered for sale are in working order unless otherwise stated. Please study the full description of the item to check its features and condition. See Descriptions.
5. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY SATISFIED WITH YOUR WATCH OR ITEM OF JEWELLERY,JUST SEND IT BACK STRAIGHT AWAY  FOR A FULL REFUND SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS PLEASE ASK, LESS POSTAGE- NO QUESTIONS ASKED.  POSTAGE CHARGES CAN BE CONFIRMED AT THE TIME OF THE ORDER. THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR PACKING.(NOT APPLICABLE FOR ITEMS SENT OUTSIDE THE UK)

5a. All prices quoted on goods for sale on the website are excluding delivery, delivery costs can be confirmed at the time of order.Prices for insured delivery vary depending on weight and value but generally to send in the UK most items would cost between £5 and £8, Europe £5 to £10 and the rest of the world please ask for the postage costs. (delivery costs WILL be confirmed at the time of the order).

Insurance: All items sent to you are insured in transit by us. If you need to send or return anything to us, you should arrange to cover them under your own insurance.

6. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch and most Major Credit Cards with the exception of American Express. Any card information should only be provided by fax, or telephone giving complete name and address, including postal code of card holder, also expiry date and card number.

We make no charge for clients purchasing by Visa / Mastercard / Switch etc.

7. Please do not send credit card information over E-Mail.
8. New clients may prepay by banker's cheque, charge card, wire transfer; all cheques must be cleared before goods are released.
9. We regret that we cannot accept any C.O.D. or on approved orders.
10. Overseas orders are only accepted on the basis that the customer shall in addition to the cost of the item be responsible for the cost of package and carriage to it's place of delivery.
11. The Vendor reserves the right to amend listed or quoted prices and specifications without notice having to be given to the customer.
12. The Vendor shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any loss or damage or injury of whatsoever nature or for any consequence of any such loss, injury or damage arising out of, or resulting from any cause whatsoever beyond the Vendor's reasonable control.

15. As with most pre-owned watch dealers, unless specifically stated we cannot guarantee the waterproof seal on any watch unless the watch is factory sealed.  This can be arranged at cost price if required.

16. Every watch guarantee is subject to the following conditions:-
a) that the watch will be maintained in good going order during the period in which the watch is covered
b) the guarantee does not cover, overwound, injured or unfair use, water damage, breakage of mainspring
c) damage being caused by neglect, being dropped,with  long haul journeys particles being dislodged in transit, so if being shipped to an overseas location and especially if an older watch we recommend having it cleaned and serviced on arrival or any other causes.

** We will always do our best to reproduce the Watches and Jewellery to the best possible quality over the internet, but due to limitations, this is not always possible. All watches in the catalogue are small, which when clicked on, then goes to a larger better quality image. This has been done so the smaller images download quicker on the pages. Images MUST be clicked on to get the best possible image available.
